I am so sorry to hear this news today. I clearly remember her the last time I saw her which I think was just this past Wednesday at the Mark Morris dance school.

Moe and Sarah, Pat and I are thinking about you. We knew Fran from Spring Glen and will always remember her leading the community in song. We know her also from your deeply moving book---such a tribute to her, and in the process a wonderful self-portrait of you.
We were students at the Graduate Center. We agreed to work as partners on our research thesis. I think this was among the most fateful decisions for us both. We both made successful careers from this partnership. She asked me if she should accept the offer of the Keningston NHS director. Can you imagine!! For all her great social skills, she doubted herself. One of the biggest persons in my life. I will miss Fran forever.
Moe and Sarah, may you find comfort during your time of bereavement. Fran made a significant difference for many people and organizations. Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City is who we are today because of her leadership, innovation, and vision. Her leadership transformed how community organizations operate and are viewed throughout New York City and beyond. Thank you Fran for being a Great Leader!
Fran, Moe and Sarah have been members of our wonderful summer home, Spring Glen Meadows bungalow colony since its inception. Late joiners, Dick and I met Moe and Fran and have enjoyed their friendship every summer since. Fran's presence will be so missed -- even at the end of last summer, she was up for a party. The world is a better place thanks to Fran Justa. Fran was a truly amazing and unique woman who lived a life that we can all admire and aspire to; one that was dedicated to helping others. She was a rare individual who truly "walked the walk.” I am grateful to have known her and call her my friend. I will miss her always.
